Yachts
Type of yachts
As most of the entrepreneurs for whom this event is intended are often inexperienced regatta sailors, the fleet of sailing yachts we selected offer a high level of comfort and less racing features e.g. (no spinnaker). All of the selected yachts are of similar standard making the chances of any given boat winning the race equal.
Each yacht has four spacious double cabins and can comfortably berth a minimum of six people.
Bavaria 50

Sun Odyssey 49

Oceanis 473
Crew
Each individual yacht comes together with a professional skipper, who is responsible for the yacht and all manoeuvres on board. To ensure the highest degree of privacy to our guests, the skippers do not sleep onboard the same yachts.
For teams wishing to man the yacht entirely by themselves this is perfectly ok and no designated skipper will be assigned to your yacht.
Operating the yachts
During the event, the yachts are fully operated by the organizing crew and their respective skippers. Practically
speaking, this means that guests are free of all responsibilities regarding the preparatory and operational aspects onboard. The above also covers: Check-in, provisions, cooking, running-costs and the final clean-up..
Nautical adventure, cultural discovery trip and racing event
The itinerary is set between Athens and Spetses (Peloponnesus) in one direction. The daily distances have been limited
to 20 Nautical miles, being only a few hours at sea. This also allows sufficient time for visits ashore, shopping,
networking and partying in the comfort of these small authentic Greek villages.
At least one full day is dedicated to an offshore regatta. All yachts racing fall under one class, without a spinnaker.

Touristic Programme
Greece offers a warm climate and open-hearted people. During a corporate
sailing
you explore the pearls of the Saronic Islands. Below you will find an
example of a
program – conference, competitions and other activities can be added.
Sunday - Aegina
On Sunday noon the participants board the yachts straight from Hotel Plaza
Resort. The skippers provide them with a short introduction on security
on board. The fleet is then ready to leave towards Aegina. Lunch will
be served on board, eventually after anchoring in a beautiful bay. Aegina
is the largest of the Saronic Islands and lies close to Athens. It’s
a peaceful island with a flowing landscape, leafy pistachio gorves and
a genuine Greek island-atmosphere. Despite seeming so quiet, Aegina can
offer fine dining experiences, fun bar-hopping and intense nightlife.
Monday – Poros
In Poros you get sufficient time to explore the narrow lanes of white
houses up the volcanic mountains. There is some fine shopping here and
a very lively scenery along the quays. Those who are interested in Antique
Greek culture, will have the opportunity to visit the theatre of Epidaurus.
Tuesday - Hydra
Hydra is an extremely picturesque village, full of red-tiled houses and
stone-paved narrow alleys. It used to be the destination of fashionable
artists during the sixties and has kept a highly cosmopolitan character.
The whole island is closed to any kind of motorised vehicles and doesn’t
have any roads, only donkey paths. This very popular spot is often crowded
with people who want to party. Most of the clubs and bars of Hydra are
located west of the capital and are open until morning.
Wednesday – Spetses
On the next morning breakfast is served on a terrace outside the harbour
where we enjoy a perfect view. The first leg of the race will take us
to the beautiful bay of Dhokos – an uninhabited island – where
we will enjoy lunch. Later in the afternoon we head for Spetses.
Spetses is a beautiful island with rich vegetation and many pine trees.
It has various wonderful sandy beaches and lovely secluded bays. Its main
ccity is a real architectural beauty full of two-storey neoclassical houses
with wooden balconies, coloured walls, and narrow stone-paved alleys.
She has an intense and lively nightlife, with modern and nicely decorated
bars, playing a wide range of music and serving drinks until dawn.
